Trading up 1 round is worth giving up Jensen *and* retaining 2M for two years? I’d pass personally.

Also, it’s not a legal trade. The Caps have already used all three of their retention slots and they don’t open up until July 1, which is of course after the 2024 draft. Any trade involving Caps retention can’t include 2024 picks.

Actually that's a good point, I hadn't thought about the fact that the caps can't retain right now.
