Poitras on the 4th line wing doesn't make a lot of sense. He isn't a 4th line type of player. He is more of a high IQ playmaker than a speedster or a grinder. What he needs more than anything else is time to develop. I think he still isn't eligible for the AHL this year, so their best bet is probably to rotate him between 3C/3RW to start the year. If things go well, he probably needs to bounce between 2C/3C, and if things go poorly then he rotates between 3C/3RW/scratch.
