yeah there's not really any reason for Ottawa to do this. Pinto is younger, cheaper, and a known quantity for the Sens. while Necas will still get good value, this is also the trade where one team is actively looking to get rid of a player, while the other team and player have absolutely no interest in parting ways with each other. I'm sure they'd rather pay Pinto 5M than Necas 8M any day of the week. plus with Norris' health status questionable, Sens could potentially be pretty thin at centre, they have no business moving Pinto
