Description
Yes I know Boucher is not what he was projected to be but I think he would make a good fit for a checking role with the Capitals.

Draft one of: Eiserman, Greentree, MBN or Yakemchuk (I know a couple of them may not be on the board but there is a shot)

Boucher is most likely a bust but I wouldn't do that on the off chance he becomes good in 5 years.

Wild decline. They aren't looking to trade Rossi for a bad pick and player that's practically the same size with a worse stat. It's been made clear what bill guerin is looking for

He is 6 foot now. Plays a very different more responsible game, but alright

I just want him for his physical play. I don't care about point totals

CapFriendly has always had outdated information on Caps players and prospects. McMichael is listed as 6'0" (183 cm) on every site other than CapFriendly. However, I do agree that the trade makes little sense for either team. The caps need a 1C, and Rossi doesn't fit that bill yet (and isn't tracking to be one since COVID), the wild need an upgrade on Rossi if they trade him, McMike is not an upgrade over Rossi

Rossi is also a very good two way player and continues to grow. Bill Guerin has a problem with smaller player's which is why Rossi seems to be available along with the fact that Danila Yurov is coming, and they want to keep the 1 or 2c spot available for him. They see Danila Yurov playing a long-term role along with stud Eriksson ek as wild long term 1 &2c

You can get guys with physical play who also have scored more than 26 points in a season at least once since their U15 year. Boucher is maybe one of the worst draft picks in recent memory and wouldn't see the ice in Hershey, let alone Washington

If you want a vet checking forward sign someone like Martinook or Carrier, if you want a young guy just call up Rybynski or Trineyev who both have looked great for Hershey

I thought Yurov was a winger

I personally along with many many wild fans don't believe Rossi should be traded. Bill Guerin seems to have problem with smaller player's and with wild committing to Danila Yurov, Eriksson Ek, and Marat K down the middle, it's why Rossi appears to be available

He plays wing in the KHL, but Wild fans seem to think that he is a C option (I don't doubt that the Wild management will attempt to try and make him transition to C when he comes to NA)

No, Yurov is a Center who has been playing Center in Russia and was transitioned over to Center by wild before he left to go back home after developmental camp. Yurov was a complete stud at Center this past season and will be coming over after next season when wild aren't in cap hell any longer

he was playing wing but was transitioned to Center. He mostly played Center this past season on his team in Russia
