then the issue is you can't have extensions in place for either player
other than that is it fair value?

I mean I like the player you offered. Wild are still going to seek a high pick along with a player. Whether it's this player or not is up to bill guerin

because they can get a D man with the pick and sign a Goalie in FA, no need to spend that much on a goalie

Not one goalie in this years free agent market even comes close to Markstrom, man they don’t even come close to Samsonov lmao

Boston will never trade Ullmark to you guys so Markstrom fits your teams needs well especially with the next 2 years being your window to go for it.

You could do much better getting a dman off free agency than getting another unreliable unproven starter.

And an 18 or 19 year old rookie isn’t helping you guys make noise in the playoffs especially at the pick you guys have

they dont need a markstrom taking most of their games from woll. they need a tandem goalie to get woll to that starter roll

Is there a rule that states that Markstrom can’t share the crease with Woll?

Considering he did the exact same thing with Demko im pretty confident he’ll be ok with splitting starts not to mention having an older more experienced goalie to help teach Woll is an added benefit you wouldn’t get from a younger goalie.

It worked wonders for Demko so why not for Woll too

there is probably a rude that shanny gave treliving not to make a dumb trade. this would break that rule

Well im glad you were able to contribute to this discussion by making your points so eloquently and intelligently lmao /s

You haven’t given me one good reason why Markstrom wouldn’t be the perfect goalie to go for instead you can only say its a bad trade with no explanation lmao

Good luck running back the Woll Samsonov tandem into another first round exit I guess

he wont be a good fit in toronto because woll needs to play games, hes 34 years old, can regress any any moment and toronto doesent have that kind of money to spend on a goalie. and who said i was saying to run it back with samsonov?

giving up all of those assets makes no sense for a 34 year old man. when they can go get a tandem goalie in free agency

Broissoit would be nice on a 2 year deal, but i doubt he will leave the jets, talbot will get too much to be a tandem guy for the leafs. stolarz would be a decent add, theres also nedeljkovic

how? leafs go with their young goalie of the future and save money for a better D core. beats waisting assets on a goalie who is 34 making 6 million for the next 2 years.
