lol Wow. LA fan much? lol Leafs trading Marner for a non NHL D man who cant even scratch out a plus rating in the AHL? And is years away from adding any value? Maybe in 5 years when Matthews is gone and the Leafs window is closed this guys MIGHT be an NHL player. No value for the Leafs there. Saros and 50% of Marners contract for a 3rd line C and a bad contract LA is trying to get rid of? This is terrible for everyone but LA.

No Kings fan wants to trade Clarke. Fiala and Moore also are better value than Marner. This trade is unrealistic for LA. This also doesn't make sense for the Preds who don't have a #1 set for next season and would be taking on another $5M when they made the playoffs this season.

Of course no Kings fan wants to trade him. They are in rebuild and they know it. They just cant get rid of all their bad contracts fast enough. They are stuck in the middle.

LA is not in a rebuild, they have made the playoffs 3 seasons in a row and bought players each of the past 3 years: Danault, Fiala, PLD. Also if they are in a rebuild, why are they selling their best asset not in the NHL in Clarke. Even your counter argument is flawed.

THEY ARENT lol You literally just said nobody wants them to trade him. Why? Because the fans have no faith in the team. They are already looking towards the future because they know the roster they have is not competitive. The point makes perfect sense. It only doesnt make sense to you because you are in denial. You right, your team has made the playoffs each year. And bowed out each year. And wasted assets trying to build up a losing team. They are Leafs West.

You see a team can compete and still hold on to future assets a difficult thing to understand in Toronto.
