EDM will just buyout Campbell and be much better off for it.

That Seguin trade is not in the best interest of the Flyers in my opinion. I know Briere said we are still rebuilding, but with Michkov on the way within the next year or two, I don’t know if it’s such a great idea to trade for long term high cap hit player. The same thought for Jack Campbell. In the Laughton trade, I don’t believe the Flyers are getting the full amount tbh he could for a player of Laughton’s caliber. With that being said, your pick and prospect for Laughton is probably the best way to go. I’d love to see us get that much in return for Couturier, but I really don’t think it would work.

Yeah, I only added it because PHI has cap and lots of it, so they can put him in AHL and buyout down the road, whereas it'll cost EDM 1-2mil every yr for 6 yrs if they buy him out.

But I get it, almost unneccessary for PHI and too expensive for EDM
