Your odd man out is whoever other teams are asking for. Nobody's asking for a smallish left shot guy unless a team sorely lacks depth breakout guys. The guys other teams will ask for are Xhekaj, because he's big and physical, which is exactly what a lot of teams want in their bottom 4 D in the playoffs, and Matheson because he can run a power play and that might be in high demand in the offseason.

What Barron has going for him is that he isn't small and he's right shot, and he'll be good in a 4-5 spot in a year or two.

Our odd man out is whoever our odd man out is, doesn't matter who's asking for who if he's going to be the one we've made available. Not acknowledging his value would be supplementary to this point. If there isn't a team specifically interested at this time then we play him on his off side or include him in a larger package.
