Great he can get 50-60 points and play brutal defense. You pay a guy like that 4-5 mil with the cap going up and we can't afford it.

3 years for Mo and Razor at that price???

I'd rather sign Matt Roy for that price.

At least he can defend.

If you're paying Seider and Raymond that money they better be on 8 year max deals.

$6.25M for a guy who is non-NHL caliber defensively.

Yeah. Thanks. No thanks.

After listening to Yzerman presser, he was happy with Gostisbehere and would strongly consider bringing him back. The best outcome would be Edvinsson to quarterback the PP2 next year and therefore an offensive minded defenseman isnt needed anymore. If Detroit want to continue with having an offensive D on the backend, I would rather resign Gost on a 2-year deal than signing one of Barrie, Klingberg or Shattenkirk.

How many GMs say “Yeah he ****ing sucked, we’re glad to be rid of him”?

Ghost put up enough points this year to chase money. Money he’s not worth for the abomination he calls a defensive game.

He served his purpose of taking PP1 time from Seider and nerfing his production in a contract year.
