Équipe: 2024-25 Maple Leafs de Toronto
Date de création initiale: 8 mai 2024
Publié: 8 mai 2024
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Ya I know Wilson but at 4 M it is worth it for TML and this trade helps get WAS out of that contract and get a center.
There will be bidding wars for Montour and Roy, not saying they worth this but might just have to pay to play!
Most of all increase our draft pool ALOT!

JT ain't waiving

The GOLF 4 has to be split up Tavares is the worst offender of all taking 11M to get 2 points in playoffs and be a complete no show with no heart!
Then to add insult to injury he defends keeping the GOLF 4 together , what so they be the 1st to the golf course and not break up the foursome!
After the abuse they take from fans and media they will beg to be traded!

15 mil is a ton of retention, even over 7 years. 1 year of JT does nothing for the Capitals.

I am assuming JT would re-sign for much cheaper he has a few years still left in him.
What else is WAS going to do with 6 years of Wilson at 6.5M serioulsy doubt anyone ever offers this again lol.

I hate the idea of it because if OTT comes back to bite TML in the arse in playoffs I would have to find a bridge lol!

that’s a plenty reasonable price for Marner, but I just don’t see any Marner acquisition making sense for the Sens. soft, perimeter skill that would immediately be the most expensive player on the team while needing a big extension doesn’t really fit

Maybe we can get the battle of Ontario back if Marner can help us get to the playoffs lol

Honestly believe being on a line with Tkachuk will give them both career years and help Marner with his small man mentality having Tkachuk as his body guard.

Oh no I agree, JT is most certainly the worst out of the core 4. But his decline should of been expected, still he wanted to live a childhood dream and unless you treat him the way our fanbase did he won't waive. And 100% agree on him being a bad leader, maybe he is great in the locker room but on the ice no. This was very apparent to me when the leafs blew the 3-1 series lead after he went down with that brutal injury, the fact that the team could not only beat a much inferior opponent for their captain BUT lose on top of that is ridiculous

I have to hope change will come , not sure I will be around as a fan when they finally are able to fix this mess otherwise !
Fans are not stupid after 7 years of being lied to they are running for the hills!

That and Keefe and Shanahan being fired should have happened the minute the OT goal was scored!

It should of happened when they blew the 3-1 series lead. But MLSE knows they don't have to worry about your fanbase boycotting the team. Marner comment is definitely a tradeable offense but he is 100% right

He is Giroux replacement, the guy is 36 and not getting younger. Batherson + Marner as our RWs of the future is good af. Cap is going up to so if this was the offer we should take it and run.

How does a team with a 58 year Cup drought still manage to be 2nd in NHL revenue it baffles me.
As far as I know our season tickets have been on waiting list only for years, completely sold out!
I stopped going to games and buying anything TML related years ago as boycott but last step is to find a new team , may have to switch to the other Ontario team soon lol.

You don't want to be a sens fan lol. Canada cup drought is mainly due to their being only 7 teams, and high tax rate. I'm from California and out state has the same population as your country. But like Marner said they are Gods and as much of a jack ass comment that is he is 100% right. That should be the comment that causes change not only in Toronto but in all of hockey Canada. I mean people give fanbases hell for not showing up when the team is bad but that is the best way of sending a message. Toronto could set the record for worst team 5 years in a row yet they'll still sell out every game. Good on you for boycotting, you support them in person if they are good, and on TV if they are bad

with that retention, he's an entirely serviceable 4C. His contract is terrible, but there's nothing wrong with the player.

im not dogging kampf's value just not a spot for him on the Sabres, who need a 3C significantly better than Kampf.

Caps don't trade Wilson for JT 1 for 1 lmao. JT is a stud, but we don't need a 33 year old center
