"Reduced role"?!? He'd clearly be on your top line (and not just because he's there in this ACGM) and on the #1 power-play unit. You aren't going to tell us that Connor Dewar or Noah Gregor or anyone else you have other than Matt Knies is going to play ahead of him, are you? Even if Easton Cowan makes the team next season, Keefe is unlikely to prefer him to Frankie, who scored 37 goals playing primarily with Adam Henrique as his center and on one of the worst PP teams in the League -- he could score 40 with Matthews. Your top-scoring LW recorded 21 goals last season, your next two, 15 and 14. Even if he falls off to 25 goals, he's still an upgrade on what you have now because there's no more assurance that Bertuzzi (if you re-sign him) or Knies are going to improve to 30 goals than that Vatrano is going to break his three-season running streak of constant improvement (with a haplessly crummy team).
