Untouchable: Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Karlsson, Rust, Pettersson
Very, very likely to stay: Bunting, Eller, Acciari, Puljujarvi
Young & here to stay: DOC, POJ, St. Ivany, Shea, Ludvig
Unknown: Nieto
So long, farewell: Harkins, Bemstrom
For sale: Smith, Rakell
FOR SALE: Graves
One depends on other: Ned (if we deal Jarry)
From that: Trade Smith, keep Jarry, unable to trade Graves, trade Rakell (in this AGM), but I actually think we end up holding on to him IRL.
This team and it's "coach" had zero foresight on how to help the team. When he knew the season was tanking out he should have put Rakell on Sid's line to pump him.
Then maybe he would have been moveable. Instead he left him sit on Malkin's line which clearly wasn't working. Even when they shipped of Guentzel they didn't put him up there to try to bump his numbers.
If the year is half over and they aren't in a playoff spot, they should attach him to Crosby next year. Tell Crosby to keep giving him the puck to get him the hell off the team.
All they had to do was get him to 50 points this year and he's have been WAY more moveable. But hell if they could have figured that out.
Id rather have Rakell than Mikheyev. Rakell had 60 points the season before this one. With Bunting’s game added to that line, he can bounce back. Mikheyev does not have that ceiling.
