    No, he is a better scout than GM. He find our needs and the players that fit those needs but he is terrible at negociating trades.

    Another disappointing season for sure. But it was pretty inevitable with their cap constraints.

    Hawks would probably spend a 5th for Jeannot. Might get more from another team though.

    Duclair and Pesce likely get more $ than this

    This is just the natural progression. They have been good to great for years, and they were going to, sooner rather than later decline. There are some great pieces but it can only be so long before the cap and age catch up to any team

    The Jeannot trade was absolutely fried. Not only did they waste multiple assets that couldve been used to actually help the team, it robbed them of cap space they couldve used to keep Ross Colton. I've seen this movie before with Stan Bowman, you don't want to waste the last 3 years of Kucherov's contract with a GM that's not putting your franchise star in a position to contend for cups perennially.

    Womp womp. Two cups in a row. Idk what exactly you want him or any other GM to do. Cap situation isn't gonna change by firing him
