it's not just "a first in 3 years" it's basically a bottom of the league 1st in 3 years.

My point isn't that they would trade him for this. It was that the penguins would never do this, and that it's not some impossible idea that the NYR would trade him.
They would for the right offer. Because 50 point guys aren't "unmovable," they just need the right offer.
