Unfortunately we have 5 puck movers and then Samuelsson and Clifton. Our d needs more players like Samuelsson. I think he had a down year, I don't think he's available

Fair enough just have seen a lot of Buffalo teams with him moved so wasn’t sure what is status is. What’s ur opinion on the actual trade itself? Too much or too little or not bad?

You said St Louis, do you speak for the team/fanbase? That’s literally all I’m saying it’s ur opinion that St. Louis doesn’t do this not the teams opinion. GM’s say one thing then do another all of the time it’s called working the media

Sigh...

Ok, If you're dead set on twisting my words, let me rephrase it in that case if it makes you happy. St.Louis Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong stated he isn't interested in deals like this in his his post season press conference. So it is to be expected that the St.Louis Blues (the team, not the fans and definitely not me) aren't interested in a trade as mentioned not only in this tradetopic, but also the other one you were refering to. Can he change his mind? Sure... Is it to be expected? Probably not.

Having said that. You do you, but I don't feel like playing these kind of childish games so I'm done responding to you. Have fun!

Armstrong also said he wasn’t moving his first last year and then ya know like 3 days later had a massive trade on the table with the Flyers that included your 2023 1st and was going to go through until Krug vetoed it. It was also reported by many that they offered the 1st for Laughton in a deal before that. Ur GM clearly has a history of saying one thing and doing the complete opposite so maybe take his word with a grain of salt?

Value is close I think, for the Sabres at least, I think adams was interested in cates too. For me, the Sabres are so soft that I want anybody coming in to bring their own sandpaper with em. I'm not a fan of their build as it stands- 5 puck moving d, 5 left shot d, two centers who aren't good in their own zone, a bunch of skilled forwards who avoid contact at all costs and gravitate to the Perimeter as soon as they think the coach isn't looking. I have been watching toronto-Boston, it's like watching a different sport.
