It’s Maccelli and a 2nd for Buchnevich who’s got 1 year left that wants out. No retention. You got a young controlled player with tons of upside. Vejmelka and a 3rd for Binnington. No retention on Binnington who they’ve tried to move before, you get a younger goalie with lots of upside as well. Then you get Kerfoot who scored the same as Schenn this year on a bad team and a 2nd. Moving off that deal would be nice where Schenn is in his career. I retained him down to just over 100k per point.

Where have you heard Buch wants out? No one has reported that. Binnington has a very high value coming off this year. Most of the talking heads have mentioned what a good return he could fetch. IF they wanted to move Binner they wouldn’t need to retain and he’d bring a much better return than a backup and a 3rd. The Blues and Yotes were essentially the same team. Trading your captain for Kerfoot is not something I can see them doing. Still a hard pass
