Tarasenko is a nice idea for your team, and this overall strategy and the resulting roster looks good. My only thought is what about keeping your first line together and putting Tarasenko on the second line with Newhook and Dach?

I like your thinking on this, why split up the most productive line in the league since the tdl? It makes no sense!

Other notes:

Keep Armia and Gallagher with Newhook, that line was pretty productive over the last few games.

Anderson-Dach-Tarasenko could be a good, hard to handle line

RHP, Barron and Dvorak likely won't be on the team come October. I think Mailloux and Reinbacher will make the team with Hutson starting in Laval.

Lineup becomes

Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky (clearly our best line)
Anderson-Dach-Tarasenko (hard, fast, skilled, tough line)
Gallagher-Newhook-Armia (great 2 way possession line)
Roy-Beck-Evans (befensively responsible, young line with some decent offensive upside)

Guhle-Savard (allows Guhle to be a little more offensive but still a tough pair to play against)
Mateson-Reinbacher (allows Hutson a little more development time, puts Reinbacher in a great position to develop in his future role with the Habs, although he should probably start in Laval with Hutson but we really don't have a better option without making a trade)
Xhekaj-Mailloux( were a great pairing in Laval earlier this season, bringing that to the NHL could really benefit both players overall development and it is a fun pairing to watch)
