Pesce hasn’t been very good the last 2 years. Montour still has much better 2 way numbers than Pesce the last 2 years

Love this team on paper fr. Goaltending will be the biggest "what if" for sure, but our defense looks 10x better than last season so it'd relieve a lot of pressure off the two.

The picks are also huge. Having 9 picks in the first two rounds in the next two years will literally save us down the road and get us prospects we're desperate for.
Anaheim 2nd is likely in the early 30's for 2025 which is very nice.

I use Evolving Hockey . It shows Pesce is a net even defensively this year and that won’t get better as he’s aging. Montour is positive
