I don't know. The Capitals would need him to come with an extension already done for 8 years. The capitals are not in much of a spot to be trading firsts.

Yeah, I'd agree with this...that is a lot to give up. Not saying the value is correct, but from a Caps perspective, it is a lot to give up (i.e., older team, need to continue to retool the prospect pool, etc).

Plus, where would Chychrun fit? Fehevary has really stepped up his game, AA has REALLY been solid down the stretch, and they aren't moving Sandin (even though I am personally still not convinced Sandin is a top 4 defender). Maybe on the right side after the Caps move Jensen and/or TVR, but Carberry has said many times he likes the traditional lefties on the left and righties on the right
