Why would we want to? We have tons and tons of wingers in the AHL worthy of playing on the 4th line, why would we either
A. Ruin Broberg's development by playing him as a 4th line winger

or

B. Be paying 2.75 million dollars for a 4th line winger who might not even be good in that role

1. We don't have any wingers in Bakersfield worth playing.
2. We play a lot of 11/7 - playing one of them at F will give both more ice time.
3. We did this when Kemp was here

Gagner, Lavoie, hell even Bourgault could use the minutes

I don't think we've played 11/7 in a long long long time (unless I'm mistaken)

Did we? Kemp only played one game and it was against the Habs in January, we ran a 12-6 and Broberg wasn't even playing

Gagner probably retiring after this season. Bourgault is barely half PPG in the AHL - what warrants giving him NHL ice time? Lavoie maybe - but I'd rather play Kulak and Broberg over him, they're both just flat out better.

Knobby likes rolling 4 lines so I don't think 11-7 is a thing anymore
