Do you think Staios will be high on Parekh? I feel like us fans love Parekh more than Staios will. He is a defense first minded guy, I believe he will pick Dickinson or Silayev type players before Parekh.

the way things are trending, I’d be pretty shocked if Parekh was available at 9, and wouldn’t expect him there for maybe even 7 and 8

Staios seems like such a straightforward and pragmatic guy, I’d be a bit surprised if he wasn’t just going straight for BPA and not thinking any more about it

You are probably right and I hope that's how he approaches it. Just take BPA and figure it out later.

Once Celebrini is gone at #1, drafting the BPA in the Top 10 isn't as clear-cut IMO.

Taking Dickinson or Silayev would be very redundant when we already have Sanderson + Chabot + Chychrun + Brannstrom + Kleven.



With that said, if Staios is a defense first minded guy, I can see him go off the board and take someone like Adam Jiricek.

But if he wants Jiricek, he might as well just trade down.

The only problem is taking the BPA in the Top 10 once Celebrini is off the board isn't that straight forward.

If, for example, we're picking at #7, you can make the case for using the pick on like 3-5 different players (i.e. Parekh, Eiserman, Catton, Helenius, etc).

I feel like he picks a D no matter what . If Parekh is gone , then he might go for Buium, Dickinson or Yakemchuk

I wouldn’t be shocked, for sure. I think there’s a non-zero chance he likes Helenius a lot, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he drafts out of the CHL/north america
