Selected a team that might be interested. Doesn't have to be NYR
    NYR
    1. Mangiapane, Andrew (2 900 000 $ retained)
    Détails additionnels:
1st thing that should be done is do whatever to trade Mangiapane. Since getting 5.5 he hasn't been worth it. See if you can get something back at 50%.
    2.

Next up is find a way to trade Markstrom/Vladar or whatever it takes to get Wolf in the NHL permanently.

      1. Backlund, Mikael
      2. Coleman, Blake
      3. Kadri, Nazem
      4. Kuzmenko, Andrei
      5. Sharangovich, Yegor
      Détails additionnels:
Listen to offers on these players. Not say you are 100% trading them, but see what you can get. If you like a deal take it. IK they have varying values but try to sell high on some of these guys.
      4.
      CGY
      NYR
      1. Dubé, Dillon [Droits de RFA]
      Détails additionnels:
Get Dube off the team. IK innocent until proven guilty, but he has a bad aura RN and no body will sign him. This isn't a trade, this is a don't qualify

      1. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (VAN)
      2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (CGY)
      Détails additionnels:
Take BPA. If it's Celebrini that's amazing. If it's Catton or demidov or anyone else. TAKE THEM!!!! We have needs at every position right now! We can't be taking Iginla just because of his last name! If he is BPA, take him. If not let's let someone else have him!

      CGY
      NYR
      1. Andersson, Rasmus
      2. Weegar, MacKenzie
      Détails additionnels:
You have probably seen me against trading these 2, but if we are going full on rebuild, it's the right move. Only if it's a good offer. I won't be discussing trades in this thread right now.
      7.

      1. Coronato, Matthew

      4. Pospisil, Martin
      5. Schwindt, Cole [Droits de RFA]
      6. Wolf, Dustin [Droits de RFA]
      7. Zary, Connor
      Détails additionnels:
Finally let the young guys play! Don't want players leaving us like others have if they don't get enough ice time. Let them develop in the NHL if that is where they should be
      8.
      CGY
      NYR
      1. Huberdeau, Jonathan
      Détails additionnels:
Huberdeau needs someone to get back to even a PPG. If it's overpaying Reinhart for 1 year so be it. If last year is the most points he gets on the team, this is easily the worst contract in league history.

Above could also be someone like Duclair on a 2 year cheap deal

Trading away long term expensive contracts is really difficult, unless the same cap is returned to the Flames.
Unfortunately for Flames fans, Trevliving signed too many long term expensive contracts that might not have trade value

Yea Kadri and Coleman are both unrealistic but possible(maybe we take shorter term back or something??) Huberdeau isn't a trade in this situation just made it easier to explain. Hopefully Conroy makes the future look alot better this offseason through the draft and trades

If Mangiapane gets moved in the off season I'm guessing it will be a pretty underwhelming return. You don't see retention often in the off season because the cost is too high.

Kadri, Coleman and Weegar are keepers, not just for their current play but for the leadership and intangibles they bring. The only way we should even consider trading any of them is if we get a really good offer that includes something worth trading them for... Something like an early 1st or a credible (not pie in the sky "potential" that maybe just maybe with lots of prayer, hope and luck might turn out decent) replacement.

Sharangovich has been a really good fit who can play any forward position without looking out of place in the top 6 or the bottom 6. Kuzmenko has been maybe our best offensive weapon since he joined the team. Both players are candidates to keep too though that decision shouldn't be made until near the deadline next year. We shouldn't be shopping them but of course if we get a good offer for one of them we'd have to consider it.

Backlund definitely should be moved if we get a good offer for him. It's time for a captain with a more aggressive and effective way of leading than Backlund or Giordano had anyhow. Coleman, Weegar, Andersson and Kadri would all probably make better captains.

I'd trade Andersson too if we get a good enough offer for him. Otherwise we keep him for at least 1 more year and see how extension talks go after that.

Dube yeah don't even qualify him.

I wouldn't want Duclair either. Yet another left shot winger is the last thing we need especially not a 28 year old mediocre non physical UFA who almost certainly won't sign short term or for less money than he makes now.
