Description

No trades needed. They will have to make a choice between Bertuzzi, a UFA RHD and Samsonov. The bottom pair defenseman to start the season will be young players that they will look to develop. Minten starts the season in the NHL again.

Since it's Toronto you know they will blow their cap room on offense and ignore defense. Just like you know they will get bounced from the playoffs for going cheap on goalie and defense.

Bertuzzi is going to get paid. Going with defense and goaltending is the obvious option.

Thinking it absolute fantasy that Minten is NHL ready in October. Mattinen, though I don't wish him any bad luck, will likely never be an NHLer.
