He hasn't proven he is worth that at all, If you think that's a fair OS then you are probably not getting Pinto signed at 3.75M.

I think you could do whatever the max is that's a 3rd rounder and they'd just let you take him, although a trade is most likely.

yeah it’s a gamble but the age + archetype + advanced metrics in his (albeit limited playtime) make it worthwhile imo. I don’t think it’s comparable to Pinto though, this is a predatory contract offer with a super manageable AAV, to poach a player whose opportunity is blocked from a cap strapped team. Pintos coming off a 41 game gambling suspension & for someone to make a contract offer that the sens can’t handle it would need to be pushing over 6m AAV, which is a way bigger risk so nobody is going to do it.

I think Vegas will make a trade before free agency opens up. Either they opt to keep Korczak and move Whitecloud or the other way around. IF Whitecloud becomes available Ottawa should be all over him though

The offer sheet route is interesting but there could be a bigger deal made between the two. They only seem to have about 3m in cap before any trades for next season maybe they could work something out for Roy and Korzcak. Ottawa gets a 3rd liner and a RHD. I’m not sure what their needs would be in return but I assume it would have to be a lower cap player and maybe some picks

Definitely, I think Hague is going to be gone no matter what. like you say, it’ll really be if they want to keep Whitecloud or Korczack for 3RD. My thought process is Whiteclouds probably more likely to stay at this point just because he’s way more proven and has a ton of cheap term left, but if vegas wants to save more on the cap then Whiteclouds probably the one out and Korczacks back on a cheap short term deal

I disagree, I think it's highly unlikely Hague is traded. They will move McNabb before they move Hague
