While the value isn't horrible, I don't think Keller is moved. He's their heart and soul.

exactly, he'd have to force his way out for the coyotes to move him

Not near enough. He’s easily a top winger in the NHL imo. You would need to start the trade with one of Slafkovsky, Reinbacher, or your own 2024 1st.

For comparison, Fiala was traded 2 years ago for the 19th overall pick and Brock Faber, who at the time just finished his 2nd year in the NCAA and statistiaclly wasn't that impressive, obviously he's exceeded expectations since going to Minnesota but all he was then was a mid 2nd round 19 year old defenseman.
Another comparison are the DeBrincat trades, who first was traded for the 7th pick, 39th pick, and a 3rd this upcoming draft, and the second time was traded for a late 1st, a 4th, a 21 year old former 3rd round pick defenseman who hadn't been that impressive statistically since being drafted, and Dominik Kubalik, a replacement winger coming off a bounce back season.

Keller over the past 3 seasons is almost exactly point per game, Fiala when he was traded was coming off 85 points in 82 games, DeBrincat had just came off a 78 point season for Chicago the first time he was traded, and 66 points the 2nd time. I think Keller's value is somewhere around the same as Fiala and DeBrincat, which is why I think my offer is close to fair value. Mesar is 20, former 1st rounder and has been a little underwhelming in the OHL the past 2 seasons but is still young enough that he can turn into a top 6 forward. Harris turns 24 this summer, was a 3rd rounder in 2018 and has been a solid defenseman for Montreal but doesn't seem to have a guaranteed spot going forward, he's a -4 on his career playing for a team that's been bottom 10 in the league his entire career, 0.24 points per game isn't special but it's still roughly 20 a season, and he's only making 1.4 million for 1 year, so he's not gonna hurt the Coyotes financially. As for the picks, the Jets pick is likely in the mid-late 20's, while the Flames pick could realistically be as high as 11th, assuming Florida make the playoffs next year it's the better of the 2 picks, with Calgary's being top 10 protected. I see how the package may be a bit underwhelming, but the Coyotes shouldn't move Keller unless he forces them to, in which case his value could be lower than what fans anticipate it to be, especially if he does something similar to what Tarasenko or Kane have done at the deadline the past 2 years and limited their options to a very small number of teams, which would only lower the price as there'd be even less bidders.

Overall, I doubt Keller is traded at all, but I think if it were to happen a deal like the one I proposed could be enticing enough to the Coyotes (or whatever they're called if they relocate) to make a deal happen

Fiala and Debrincat were RFAs, Keller has term. I predict Arizona/Salt Lake City trades him before his full NTC kicks in

I think Arizona would want a roster player like Evans or Pinard instead of Harris but I think Arizona considers this especially with Calgary 1st going to them and Mesar is a solid prospect

DeBrincat had a year left the first time but that doesn't really change the situation, guys like Keller with term don't get traded often, so finding a better comparison is hard. it would make sense to move him before then but i doubt they move him unless he demands out, which may happen but there's no guarantee it does

there's still a chance we move up in the lottery. but if we don't I'd gladly move 6th or whatever the pick is for Keller
