I would be surprised to see him get above the vet minimum, I could see 1.1 if teams are desperate for scorers

As for why he is bad, he doesn't do anything besides score and this year he hasn't even done that

he’s just ineffective when doing anything other than shooting the puck, and doesn’t shoot the puck that often. idk he’s probably not worse than the average replacement-level 4th liner and could score like 15-20 on a team that’s really dead-set on feeding him pucks, but I wouldn’t bet on it. I’d be shocked if he got more than like a 1 year, 1.5M deal

He has sucked in ottawa, that's why we don't like him. He'll probably barely get over a million dollars next year, if he doesn't leave to russia or czechia.
