Liligren has finally come into his own. Top 4 Dman and with RHD at a premium a 3yr @ $3.5 seems about right (slighty overpaying for him). Domi aint coming back because he's proven himself to have a higher value than $3mill, unless leafs can't get a top pairing Dman for Riley. Too round out the forward group a guy like Duclair or Mantha on a short term deal would be good enough for the depth. Good idea but don't see the leafs giving up a first for Savard. Leafs still scratching their head for giving away Dakota and Marchmant, the grit they have been missing before this year.

I think you can get a Savard or a Hamonic (Right handed guys that 1 yr left on the cheap that are savy vets) for nothing. Montreal and Ottawa have a strong young dcores that those guys you can get on the cheap for maybe a #7 dman like Timmins and a low round pick.

I think you meant Lafferty. Thats who the leafs gave away for nothing. But if by some hook and crook the leafs can get both Dakota & Lafferty (Van doesnt have the cap space). Then the leafs have a true solid bottom 6
