The Leafs are made of money; they can send him to minors (doubt he clears waivers blowing your argument to bits btw) so no harm, no foul. If he clears waivers, he’s available for injury call up. Exact opposite of a dumb contract

I hate to break it to you but no teams are "made of money", and I really hate to break it to you he easily clears waivers.
There is no "blowing argument to bits" if you even bothered to look at your AHL level defensemen listed on this site, you'd seen none of them are even making 500k a year.
Not even the leafs want to put that kind of salary down to their AHL team. Otherwise he'd be there now.

The Leafs are the richest team in the league, they are made of money. He hasn’t been sent to minors because the Leafs have ~$14.5M on LTIR so they have no need to send him down. They’re also worried he’d get claimed.
I question where you got your numbers - all of the Marlies are making over $500K

You just worry about your ‘bankrupt’ team bud 😉; maybe you can throw a bake sale of car wash. The leafs are good & Timmins is fine

There’s a lot of Leaf fans (in addition to being the richest, also the most popular) bud; I am not responsible for the varied opinions expressed by Leafs nation 🤷🏻

Bud you keep digging deeper 😂. Affiliates are not owned by nhl teams; in this case two of the richest - Leafs & Habs.

the only one digging themselves deeper is you. If TOR is so loaded with money how come they aren't saving their tiny ECHL team with tiny debts....
embarrassing.

Yet another excellent point. But again - the Leafs (or Habs) don’t own their ECHL affiliates. Being a keen student of history and observer of modern society - I don’t find many examples of organizations or individuals with money simply giving it to organizations or individuals that don’t have money 🤷🏻

but again... they are in agreement with those teams to help their prospects develop.... so it's in their own self interest to you know...keep their players developing.
Notice how other teams don't have the same issue with their ECHL teams.... but go on......

You are my hero - easy to google who is the richest & most valuable team in the league; the data is easily obtainable but you keep fighting the good fight bud 😂

Timmins is unmoveable when will TOR get over that fact and stop trying to dump him on other teams.
No one is paying 1 mil per year to dump a guy in the AHL where he belongs.
You signed a really dumb contract.... you are stuck with it.

I keep sending him to the Pens. Dubas signed that contract, so maybe he believes.

no he doesn't believe, and the penguins aren't gong to take a guy with a 1 mil AHL level contract when that is the level of play he belongs at. They simply don't have the money to throw around like that in a small market team.
