1.
PHI
  1. Knight, Spencer
  2. Lundell, Anton [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Philly gets one of the very, very few young Centers with legitimate top-6 upside on the market and give a Goalie with a very high ceiling a fresh start, all without surrendering any 100% can't lose assets
FLA
  1. Brink, Bobby [Droits de RFA]
  2. Ersson, Samuel
  3. Laughton, Scott
  4. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (FLA)
  5. Choix de 2e ronde en 2025 (ANA)
Détails additionnels:
Florida starts building back some draft Capital while getting a clear 3C replacement, another top-9 winger, a guy who should be a cost-controlled upgrade in Net all while moving on from Spencer Knight
2.
PHI
  1. Hague, Nicolas
Détails additionnels:
Philly gets a bit more size and higher upside here, might be a good player to give a shot next to Drysdale
VGK
  1. Zamula, Yegor [Droits de RFA]
  2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2024 (CBJ)
Détails additionnels:
VGK gets some draft Capital and a cheaper 6/7 option
3.
PHI
  1. Schmidt, Nate
  2. Stanley, Logan [Droits de RFA]
  3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2024 (MTL)
WPG
  1. Ristolainen, Rasmus (2 100 000 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
Winnipeg has allegedly been interested in Ristolainen in the past. Here, they get to move on from a somewhat larger Cap dump in Schmidt and and a big, defensively strong RHD who is on a contract cheaper than market value after retention
4.
PHI
  1. Turcotte, Alex [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Philly gets another guy who could probably use a change of scenery and is a part of that 2019 USNDPT club with York and Knight
LAK
  1. Ginning, Adam [Droits de RFA]
  2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2024 (PHI)
Détails additionnels:
Despite playing really well during his call up, it's hard to see a spot for Ginning on the left side long term here. I think he'd have a better shot at playing time in LA, Philly also adds a 2nd for differences in draft pedigree (although if I'm being totally honest I think the value coming from the Flyers here is a bit overkill, just sending the pick to prove the point that he'd be a guy I'd target)
5.
PHI
  1. Lavoie, Raphael [Droits de RFA]
EDM
  1. Choix de 5e ronde en 2025 (PHI)
Détails additionnels:
Buy low candidate I could see Philly giving a shot on the 4th line

Chevy definitely should not consider helping Philadelphia out and moving that 2nd to take on a bad contract on a player that is overpaid even with the retention.

The idea for moving out Schmidt would be to free up cap space. Not take back long term dead cap.

Risto @ 3AAV is better value than any RHD that is going to be available on the UFA market this offseason and Winnipeg frees up 3 million in cap space here.

Feel like a broken record saying this, but this isn't "helping Philadelphia" or really a cap dump in any way, The reason Philly does this is because Sanheim/Drysdale are basically locks for the top-2 RHD spots, and they're in a position where it makes more sense to add a draft pick than to have Ristolainen as a luxury piece

4 points in 20 games as a D+5 player who is going to be waiver eligible on a team trying to win the Stanley Cup next year. Like I said in the trade description: I added the 2nd to show that I like the player, but if we're being honest here there's no way that if LA gets a decent offer for him that they won't move him considering that if they can't guarantee that he'll make the main roster and be good enough to play all 82 that they'll probably lose him for nothing next season

As an example: his situation seems eerily similar to what happened to Zadina last year

Everyone knows what Ristolainen is at this point and he isn't better than many players. A cheaper player with comparable skill and with less term and cap hit could easily be found as a UFA.

3 mil is far too much for a low end 5/6D.

Kaliyev needs a change of scenery is what you’re looking for.

Give Turcotte a break he’s dealt with serious concussions over the years. It’s not all about points on the ice. He does the little things right and still very young
