Still consider it highly unlikely Crosby ever leaves Pitt.

Folks like to rag on Timmins, but you're right. When he has been in the lineup he's been more than OK. Gee, it's tough getting back into the NHL groove after no seeing action in two months, but he's fit in pretty seamlessly. Just might a good bargain at 1.1m next season, even as the 7th guy. And as we know, injuries happen and 7th Dmen play a lot.
