i would push it over 3.5 million easy. i wasn’t sure how easily they would match with him being their #4 RD

I don’t hate the Chychrun trade but there would need to be a nice, reasonable extension in place for NJ to give up those assets

It probably happens as a trade rather than an offer sheet. Vegas is actually rather comfortable cap wise this offseason with around 14 mil and a roster of 18. Even if they spend a little over half of that on Hanifin, its just a lot of room left.

quick google check has them at 9 million in cap, assuming they are also going to re-sign marchessault there’s not a lot of wiggle room. A second round pick is probably a pretty good value for him i’d imagine anyway
