And you need to fix that bottom pairing, Hamonic cannot be in the lineup next year.

Korpisalo’s buyout isn’t terrible, think they could go that route if there aren’t any takers. Don’t think many people will be looking to add him though. Buyout most likely I’d think.

I could see that too! Retain 500k -1m and a 3-3.5m G isn’t terrible. Especially for a team like SJ or something that could use one, gain extra picks and likely wouldn’t start to be competitive until the contract is almost up!

I think this trade makes a ton of sense for both side assuming that Ullmark is both willing to go to and extend in Ottawa. The only team we know for sure is on his NTC is LA since that's the one he apparently vetoed at the deadline. Bruins have also been interested in Chychrun for forever, so makes sense on our end too.

I think a lot of y'all forget Ullmark has a NTC. Can't imagine why anyone would waive to go to Ottawa at this point. Unless there was promise of an 8x8 extension or something crazy
