Labanc and Zadorov are trash and Mantha is a 1 year, missed out on everyone else, last resort type.

this is the exact opposite of what I want the bruins to do. Don't have a do-over of the 2021 summer where they had a ton of cap space and split it between like 5 different depth guys rather then going after some of the bigger fish available that summer. We need legit difference makers.

I think Toffoli, DeBrusk, Stephenson, DaMelo, Skjei are available players at a position of need. There are a few RHD that look extremely appealing, but that isn’t the biggest need.

I think Lindholm is the only certainty that they're gonna be interested, just makes too much sense for them not to be unless there's a different plan to add a center (maybe PLD if those rumors were true).

Beyond that I think our plans totally hinge on whether the org sees Lohrei as an everyday top 4 defenseman going into next season or if they think he needs to be on the third pair. Probably don't have enough space to sign Lindholm + Debrusk + a big fish LHD, so of you need one of those it means losing Debrusk.

I assume Lindholm as the player they are going to flat out target during free agency with a salary and term I think people will question, but acquiring a player in free agency requires an overpayment usually in years.

Add one or two year contracts for a forward and left handed defenseman totaling around $5m.

If they part with Ullmark, you could make that 3 players for $10m in between a forward, a left handed defenseman, and an insurance policy goalie.
