Value is right but idk if Alvin is willing to trade his future star winger in Lekkerimaki, even if it is for Brady Tkachuk...

I could even see thi for the trade:
Mikeheyev, Silovs, Lekkerimaki and 2025 2nd.

Imagine

Brady - Miller - Boeser
Hoggy - Pettey - pewpew/ ??

Plus Quinn and Brady are tight.

It's precisely the fact that Quinn and Brady are tight that this even gets discussed. I feel like people overvalue Brady Tkachuk, he's not remotely close to being as good as his brother, people need to understand that. He's a 1st line Power Winger who will get you 35 goals and 80 points per season, not the 40 and 100 his brother gets. Feels like the best comp would be Mark Stone for a Trade, A+ prospect (Branstrom was at the time) and some other minor pieces, add to that given that Brady is younger and has term left on his deal. Step 1 would be to pay someone to take Mikheyevso we don't need to send any money back to Ottawa, then my offer would be Raty, Silovs, Bains and 2 1sts. No A+ prospect in the deal but 3 guys who all have 90%+ chances of having lengthy NHL careers including a future star goalie (something Ottawa NEEDS) and 2 1sts seems fair to me. Don't forget that as part of this deal OTT frees up over $8M in Cap Space which is worth a 1st alone. Idk if OTT would accept but idk what else to add, I'm not trading Lekkerimaki, if they really want him I guess they could have Podz... Imagine this Top 6 Next Season

Tkachuk-Miller-Boeser
Hoggy-Petey-Lekkerimaki

Cup worthy Top 6 there.

This isn’t enough value whatsoever . They don’t need to sell him and there will be better young players available than Lekkerimaki. I still only see Lekkerimaki as a 2nd liner with top PP potential

Then put in the work. What would you do differently for this trade?

Dude. Thanks. This is awesome. I couldn't trade Bains...just that local guy...cannot do it. Someone else....McDonough, Sasson.

How does Vancouver do all of that under the cap without trading someone (Mikheyev seems like the most expendable for the biggest cap hit)?

Full disclosure: I'm a long time Canucks fan. I would love to see Brady Tkatchuk in a Canucks uniform, but, with due respect, there is NO WAY that Ottawa lets this young man go. He has only begun and when Ottawa does make the playoffs again, he will be a beast. Still, its nice to dream what that would look like.

Why do other people have to put in the work? You made this ACGM and Sens fans told you that Brady isn't for sale. So if you'd like to make a counter offer that can sway them than do that.
