I think he means the way the canes are currently constructed this doesn't move the needle for us. If Necas is to be moved, he would be moved with other assets for an upgrade

veleno is 24 and has 26 in 60. hes nothing more than a 3rd liner. there are tons of players in the league like him. hes nothing special.
sprong has 39 in 62 but there's a reason seattle didn't even qualify him last year after he put up 46. hes garbage defensively.

How is that a good trade package. a 3rd liner, a defensively garbage 40 point player and a late first. every team would blow that offer out of the water. maybe control your bias.
