Way too late. Already wasted this season keeping Sullivan and coaching staff with the worst PP in the Crosby era.

I think so too. Making some "buying" trades Like Buchnevich keeps the window open next year. Especially when STL is willing to take on 50% of the contract.

The problem that is obvious to all Penguins fans is that Sullivan has sucked this season yet still has a job. So if they cared about competing, he would have been fired months ago. Rutherford as GM would have fired him months ago unless ownership prevented it. So if they wanted to compete, that is step #1. Otherwise, all these other moves mean nothing. They didn't do that which tells me and all other PIT fans that they have no interest in competing. So don't try making contradictory decisions or it will make everything worse. They're sellers this year so sell everything that maximizes value.

I have been a life long Pens fan. I don't think Sully is the problem. I think the decisions that Dubas made in signing certain players just hasn't worked out. Also from what I have seen from the PP is that it's filled with too skilled of players. They need to simplify the PP and move EK65 off the top unit and let Letang, Malkin, Crosby cook like they have for years. The problem that is going to be this trade deadline is that they are only willing on selling Guentzel. So that isn't going to do much come the next 2 years for the Pens window. Whatever you get for Guentzel won't be NHL ready for potentially 2 years. Outside the Cup window.

Fact remains a league average PP and they are easily in 3rd in the Metro instead of 6th. That's on the coaching staff 100% when they have a lot of good ES offensive players.
