Tampa was probably lowballing or just couldn't afford Hanifin. Vegas in makes a lot of sense. Martinez is going to walk ( 36 yr old ) + include Hague in the deal and you cleared money for Hanifin's extension.

Now what does this mean for Guentzel? Gotta believe they just couldn't agree on a extension. Opens the door for Vancouver and the 3team deal w Lindholm. Don't count out Carolina and New York. I also heard Nashville but it's less realistic.

I was leaning toward FLA since it’s in Florida and the Eastern Conference, but figured VEG & LAK had a chance as well, as did NJD

I’m sure a Centre Prospect is involved amd taking back a Defensemen or Two makes sense. VEG has decent Trade Assets at least, so we’ll see

Yeah I could see that. I’ve said before that it’s good to make moves early to see if it’s a fit and apparently Lindholm in VAN is not, so he’ll probably end up in BOS in a 3-way

This is not the package for Hanifin. I’d also be shocked if Hague is involved. Knights have dealt with injuries on defence all season so they’re likely looking for insurance on it, not taking away from it. It’s confirmed that at least Danill Miromanov is involved in the deal so far
