Why would the Penguins give up a solid goalie prospect that could be in the NHL as soon as next year for a UFA?

The Pens have another good Goalie prospect in Fredrik Gustavvson, thus making Jarry somewhat expendable

The leafs centers: Nylander, Marner, Komarov, Hyman Moore, Matthews, Kadri, Bozak and Marleau. HOW IS THAT WEAK??

Whats the point in having Murray and Jarry? Best case scenario is Jarry is a gem in the 10-20 games he gets to start over the next two years and we can ship him off for something good. Murray has proven he is a capable starting goalie and will likely play all game this year besides the second of back to backs.

given that we saw Fleury have to relief Murray as he was hurt, it is never a bad thing to have 2 very capable goalies on the roster. Niemmi sucks. Likely signed just so Jarry gets more playing time in WBS. Gus won't be ready before Jarry. By that point, Murray may be due for a giant raise which the Pens may not be able to pay him. Ship him off and insert Jarry.

I was on sportnet and they list Nylander Marner, Komarov and Hyman as C/RW or C/LW. So my list was based on that premise that those players could play C if needed

Overpayment for Bozak. He's market value cannot be higher than Hornqvist's. I bad trade for the Leafts either, cause they don't need another RW. Two of their 3- best young players are RW. Nylander and Marner.

So, forget about it.

Why is it weak? Because the players you listed aren't centres. That's why. PERIOD. Let's go through them. Matthews, Kadri, Bozak centres. Marner Bozak's RWer, Komarov Kadri's LWer Marleau.Thornton's...now Matthew's LWer. Admitting Nylander has played some centre with the Marlies and some with Leafs two years ago, but he Matthew's RWer. Moore a 4th liner centre. Hyman is a winger and never played centre in NHL and I don't think he played at NCAA.
Leafs aren't going to training Marner, Komarov to be centres in the NHL. Didn't obtain 6.25m Marleau to a third line centre. In case of injury don't want Moore to assume 3rd line centre status.
