Chychrun is a 2nd pair guy, signed for another year. he's been bad defensively and has not done much at all offensively. Ottawa does not have to trade him, they can easily keep all 3 LD and stack the Left side (I know, crazy). Personally if they get a good enough offer trade him, if not try to resign him for what he's worth $4 - $5 million.

Zub is what the team needs a good shutdown guy, but he makes a lot of mistakes defensively that are over looked because he's Zub. He doesn't provide any offense. Keep him though unless you can upgrade him into a better player. I think he should be limited to 2nd pair.

Chabot is a better player than Chychrun, or at least has shown himself to be not to mention a better leader from what we know. Right deal trade, if not keep him.

Hamonic should be buried immediately, and whoever is keeping him up fired. The rest of the D is irrelevant.

Sens need a CAPABLE big shutdown defenseman.

Goalies, I'd be fine buying out both as they are both garbage with glimpses of mediocrity. You don't take long term shots on goalies that are injury prone and declining for years. Easy to find a good gamble not stupidity. cya PD.

Norris is a tough one, he's a 2nd line C paid like a first that's consistently injured.

The team needs a real coach, Jacques is fine but not the coach going forward.

Brannstrom is too soft to be a 3rd pair guy with a useless partner like Hamonic.

Stutzle needs to be put in positions to actually score on the PP, he has also got to figure out his game. Flashes of elite isn't enough. he needs to toughen up and find some consistency.

Pinto is on pace for 73pts but that's not realistic to base his next contract off. If you can sign him long term for 2nd line money you do it every time.

Greig is gonna be the same.

Trade Tarasenko, there's no reason not too. Unless he's gonna take a discount to stay for 2 more years

You get the right offer for Joseph you move him, he's a 3rd line PK player, not the end all.

Tkachuk needs to start putting in effort defensively, but he's been Ottawa's only good player this year.

Quick thoughts but the stupidity of some fans and trade boards got to me.
