I think there is some retention needed for Boston (about 800k) though I could see a parallel deal of Ullmark for Toffoli, Schmid, and a 3rd which should free enough money.

I don’t believe it will be a low ball offer. My guess is it will be similar to the offer he made Calgary. The objective is to get Lindholm. Vancouver could just keep him if they want to.

No way Boston pays that. Remember that Sweeney doesn’t need him, if it’s the right price he will do it. Lindholm has done absolutely nothing to get this type of return and on his SECOND team. Even Calgary had trouble fetching that. It’s a 1st straight up for Lindholm. Like Monahan and he even has better stats than Lindholm. I feel like we’re being generous.

The open question is does Sweeney want certainty of his roster before this summer.
