Jets have 5.8m in extra cap space(89m in total) so no need to retain

Tafolli would be good, but hopefully the Jets wouldn't move either of those pieces for him.

Dumba isn't needed at all. The Jets can't afford to give away part of the shut down 3rd line for a depth injury replacement.

The idea is to add depth at the TDL, not swap pieces around to end up with less depth.

Toffoli on the second line and maybe Iafallo as Appleton's replacement on the 3rd would solidify the forward group.

I think we need a better 7th defenseman but I don't think Dumba is the best choice.
