I like the idea of going after Lindholm and Pesce, as they would really help bolster some areas where the Kraken are lacking a bit. However, I think it would take a bigger offer to Lindholm than that to convince him.

On the other hand, I'm not on board with the Borgen trade idea, and I don't think the Kraken are going to entertain trading him. They value Borgen highly, while Timmins got displaced from the Leafs starting lineup even before he landed on IR. The gap in value between the two players is quite a bit more than third and fifth round picks, and if Seattle is going for a reload via free agency, they'd be better served keeping the superior defenseman anyway.

what are you talking about, Timmins didnt get displaced? The leafs have no depth on D and have been playing Timmins anytime they can lol

agree with Lindholm though. hes gonna fetch 8+ somewhere. the leafs need a guy like tanev and kartye though, if they trade timmins those two guys would be valued, especially if SEA would take Kampf or Jankrok back too

and hes not even playing half bad
