If Dubas was secretly in charge of the Leafs and it's all an act publicly for Shanny to act like he has power. Then maybe this was possible. Otherwise.... Hmmmm... How does adding a Karlsson make us a cup contender? He is a better offensive over Klingberg but how much defensively is the real question.

Well the Domi and Steeves signings are about right.

Just going by the trade the Leafs are much better keeping Kampf, the first, 8m in cap to sign another player, (Timmins can be buried if needed at no cap) than 10m Karlsson.

Some prognosticators would agree with Liljegren as well but probably little to 3 and for 2 years not three.

But it's Karlsson, it was the trade that would make the Pens instant contenders because it's Dubas!
