Can't see the NYR and Tampa trades happening...for what Tampa gave up for Jeannot (1st,2nd,3rd,4th and 5th) there's no way they even entertain that offer. Rempe is the new darling in NY, don't see him being traded.
I do like what you are looking for though, under this scenario maybe go for Trenin (UFA) of Nash and/or Olivier of CBJ.

Joshua is a FA to I believe. Like you bringing up Yakov Trenin 54, he is in my top 3 gets this year for Adams. Kid could bring some much needed attributes to the Sabres.

Like your thoughts, unfortunately can't see 1 and 3 happening. But definitely like what your thinking, it's a much needed aspect on the Sabres.

Tey haven't utilized Jeannot, they get out of his cap and they can try again with a minimum contract FA

It's really hard to say...I think they traded for Jeannot off that 24 goal season besides his toughness to give up that much for him...I can't see JBB selling cheap, maybe next year at the TDL if things don't change and Jeannot would be a UFA at seasons end.

Tampa Bay declines. Jeannot hasn't been good so far but JBB isn't just giving him away.
