You are mistaking dictionary definitions with legal ones. If you were to call Hart a rapist right now in a publication of some sort, you'd be sued for defamation. He is legally an alleged rapist until he's found guilty. The whole innocent until proven guilty thing. OJ Simpson is the big sports example of this and some of his defamation lawsuits. You'll also find it in the definition of allegation if you look beyond the first one.

It's always so odd that people will die on these hills when it's sexual crimes.

The allegations were substantiated with enough evidence for arrests and charges.

a statement that someone has done something wrong or illegal, but which has not been proved to be true'

Every dictionary will have something similar. It is odd that people will die on this hill when it's sexual crimes. They are so easily provably wrong by looking up the word or how it's used in legal contexts but they choose to die on it anyway.

It's more than semantics, it's just plain being wrong in your use of the word. Every legal charge is an allegation until proven to be true which is typically considered a guilty verdict. From theft, to murder, to sexual assault. That use of the word doesn't change based on the charge. You aren't downplaying something by using the vocabulary correctly and in line with how it's used for everything else.

It depends, this is 2 years down the line. I think I'll add him as an "extra" but I think it'll be hard for him to get into Team Canada at 36 iirc. He's a great player but if for example Byfield pops off while Stammer falls off it'll be hard for him to make the team. I am aware that Crosby is still on the team but he's Crosby you can never bet against him.

I know that that would be amazing but as I said to Jerry it'll be hard for Marchy/Stammer to make it to team Canada at ages 36 and 37 respectfully. Please read this before commenting. It explains more into why he isn't on team Canda in my projection

No, problem I decided to remove him entirely cus I thought about it and unless he goes on a miracle run smfh I don't see him making it over Monty/Skinner/Levi (in 2 years)/Ingram.
