Barron is nhl ready, he is 21th in his draft class for pts has a D. He will be better defensively. He will almost certainly be a top 4 D. He would be Buffalo’s best young RD and second best Rd right now, behind Jokiharju.

Barron is 100% worth a first. Former first who is matching expectations and his value has gone up since the draft.

And realistically, do you really think the habs will have a worst pick than 7?

Players are what teams are willing to give. No one outside of Montreal views Barron as a first round value.
