Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Why I like Zegras:

1) Both Dach & Newhook play a grittier game and can take on the more physical load just as Zuke & Slaf do for Caufield
2) Newhook is a great #3 who can also finish. Dach is a great #2 who can setup his teammates and kickoff the transition game. Zegras can shoot and pass #1 all the way
3) 4 centers in the top 6, means we will be more resilient when injuries DO happen
4) Great Chemistry since everyone is in the same age range
5) Players on the top line and 2nd line are mostly interchangeable

I also think this bottom 6 would be under-rated by most teams. Good veteran core with some sophomore players jumping in and out. (Roy or Gignac goes down and Farrell, Kidney, Beck, Anderson, Mesar, Sykora come up. Whomever earns it. Also 3 players on expiring deals will probably be gone by the deadline.

I don’t see a reason why the rangers do that. Both players won’t make the lineup while losing a prospect who the organization likes

I think they make the lineup depending on the opponent. You also have to account for injuries.

IMO Ylonen is exactly the player the Rangers need on the right side in their bottom 6, especially is Wheeler is out.

Wheeler's knee bent in ways a knee should not. You would need someone to replace him, right? That's gonna surely be Kakko. So you have a spot.

Ylonen is a really good player. Tons of skill. You clearly do not know the player well if you dismiss him so completely. He is not a fit in Montreal because of how our coach thinks of him, but he has the skill, speed, and shot to put up 15-20 goals in the NHL.

I wasn’t crapping on Ylonen haha. Lavi thinks Kakko is a good fit for the 3rd line and he loves vesey’s game. So Ylonen would have to be RW1 or depth
