Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Although Brodie is not having a good year, the past 2 years he has been amazing defensively and the Leafs can gain cap space sending him off to make a deadline deal. I believe this is due to him playing on the right side this year in Toronto when the left side is his strongest. We have lots of cap so we can take on the whole contract which gives us an advantage in the trade.

It may not be a good idea to send a Gauthier to Philly right now, even if there is no relation. Poor guy will be destroyed just because he shares a name with Cutter.

If Tampa is clearing cap, I think Ottawa would be interested in Perbix, they need an Rd to play 3rd pair that can bump up to 2nd as needed

Honestly doesn't look like that bad of a deal if we can't get a 1st for Walker, I doubt people will actually flip over a Gauthier that isn't Cutter, but I just wanted to throw that little quip out there for a joke.

no need to clear cap due to Sergachev, Perbix was in the trade because for value and he is out of a spot due to the trade

? this would be tampa helping the leafs more than the opposite. There is a lot of defenseman on the market

I think this is a little much, seeler is worth a 3rd and walker a late 1st to early 2nd, the package would probably be a 3rd and gauthier
