Keep in mind that Crosby is still one of the best players in the league. 28g 24a in 49 games.

The addition of Crosby would blow out the Bruins team.

Still a terrible trade... This trade would give us a shot for the next 2 years, after which our door is shut for 5-10 years...
With Perreault this team can be a power house for 10+ years... I would much rather have a great team for 10+ years rather than win in the next 2 years. With Perreault, Lafrenière, (possibly Othmann, Kakko, and Cuylle) we can win many cups in the future.

So youd rather never win and just have a good team, got it.
