Description

Couples deadline swaps to help COL for the Cup run. Mittelstadt 2C perfect fit I think. Levi is the clearcut #1 for future in BUF so maybe Luukkonen will be available. Bring back EJ for a last ride & give Okposo a chance for a Cup. Get rid of Ryan Jo, I mark FLA but any team interested at 50% retained for a pick is good. Oleksiak will bring stability & size on the back end. Maybe they add Kovalenko from KHL too. I dont know if Landy or Nichushkin will be ready for playoffs but it's a possibility too.

Oh dear, oh dear. Nothing in the Buffalo trade to interest the Sabres really, and the Avs can't afford the re-signings. Florida can't afford RyJo and no way are the Avs retaining, they'd buy him out first. The Seattle trade is bad for the Avs.

Yeah, these are all pretty tough one way or another. BUF trade is too complicated and Avs-sided. No one in their right mind should give a 3rd for Ryjo, even with retention. COL looks like they have a solid player in Malinski. No reason to let him go unless there is a lopsided offer.
